Profile Depth: The recipe for a perfect line of light

The depth of the profile is a key factor determining the effect of the obtained line of light. The deeper the profile, the better control over light uniformity. If you want better control over the direction and strength of light, it is worth considering using special profiles with focusing covers, such as Regulor. In the case of most projects, however, we look for profiles with a depth that allows for an evenly dispersed line of light.

Profile Width: number of LED strips and the aesthetics of the light line

The width of the profile has a direct impact on the number of LED strips necessary to obtain a line of light. Profiles with a lower width, e.g. Giza or Giza-LL, require a minimum of two or three rows of tapes to obtain a satisfactory effect. The principle is simple - the deeper the profile, the better the effect, and the shallower and wider it is, the more LEDs need to be glued into the profile.

LED density: about light quality and energy efficiency

LED density is a key parameter influencing light intensity and energy efficiency. By choosing LED strips with a higher density, you will get a fuller line of light in a shallower profile. In deeper profiles, such as Kozel or Lipod, z osłonkami Liger-22 covers, you can achieve an effective line of light even with strips with a density of 60 diodes per meter.

Covers/shades: diffuse the light with style

The selection of covers is crucial for light dispersion and protection of the LED strip. By choosing satin or frosted covers, you will get more diffused light, while transparent covers with high light transmittance will provide light intensity. Black options add a decorative element. Satin covers, such as Liger-11, Liger-22 or Liger-45, combine very good light transmission with effective light dispersion.
